can eating foods with more iron heighten your ability to sense magnetic fields?

i was reading an article on bmezine.com in which people got magnetic implants in their fingers or arms. it causes their nerves to be more sensitive to magnetic fields (i.e. microwaves, computers, motors etc.). if you eat a lot of iron could that possible cause your nerves to be more sensitive to feel those kinds of things? i think it would be kind of fun =P.

no but to much iron can give you a belly ache

It is possible but excess of iron can cause other health problems. So it would not be fun at all :(

I don’t know I wouldn’t think so but thats a good question. I heard that since like raisin brand or some cereal have so much iron in them that if you run a magnet over them you get iron dust.

Humans do not have the sense organs necessary to detect magnetic fields, so you can’t do anything to "heighten" it.

Cool idea, but no. You’ll just excrete it. Bad idea anyway as excess iron can cause heart issues (one theory on why women have less heart disease is periodic blood/iron loss… also why they have anemia more often).
